Oak Brook, Ill. (chainstoreage.com) - McDonald’s Corp. will celebrate its 50th anniversary with the opening of a new flagship restaurant in downtown Chicago. The opening will take place on April 15, which is 50 years to the day that Ray Krok opened his first McDonald’s.
The new two-story restaurant will feature 60-ft.-high golden arches, a double-lane drive-through, historical displays and seating for 300.
