I took my first trip of the year to New York over the weekend, this time with Mom. We did some of the things you're familiar with from my trips: we went to Saks and Macy's and took a trip to lower Broadway. But we also went to the Garment District and Ladies Mile, visiting dozens of fabric and home stores along the way, which was surprisingly interesting. Mom loves New York now too, though she found it a little too expensive and crowded at first.
