The Associated Press and the New York Daily News report that Ms. Knightley was posing on the red carpet late last week for the New York City premiere of the movie "Pride and Prejudice" when her gorgeous Calvin Klein dress malfunctioned, shall we say. The bodice slipped just enough to show off much of Keira's left breast. AP reports that photographers just snapped away and no one told her what happened.
What to say...or should I keep my mouth shut LOL
ReplyDeleteIf you are going to wear a dress like that, with no straps or sleaves then you should at least have the modesty to make sure it isnt going to fall off of you. (even if you have to hike it up as you start down the runway LOL) Sort of sounds like it could have been a stunt on her part. One way to definately get noticed.
But for the photographers to just continue to take photos, that shows bad taste. Where is the decency in either, the dress or the actions of the photographer? What about the decency of those who saw it and didnt tell her?
The whole situation is ridiculous. For one thing, how do you not notice the top of your dress is off? Second, has the quest for celebrities in comprimising positions to sell magazines degenerated to the point that people are willing to let anything go to sell maybe three or four hunded more copies?

If you don't possess the decolletege to fill the dress, then by all means, do not wear the dress! The mammary-challenged in this world need to know their wardrobe limitations!
