Do all these new innovations in children's shoes mean they can FINALLY stop selling those sneakers that flash when they walk. I find those to be mildly irritating, and despite the fact they went out of style, I've noticed a resurgence in the Wal*Mart crowd. Parents: just say no to shoes that blink, light up, or run on batteries!!

If I was a kid, having the Hot Wheels car come with my shoes would trump having lights on them any day!
ReplyDeleteDo you remember when L.A. Gear was selling the shoes with lights for adults? I think somebody at my high school may have had them. I didn't go to a very cool high school ;-)
This past year, I had a flashback of those when my aunts bought--get this--flip-flops with lights from, where else, Wal*Mart. They're staking out new markets for the useless technology as we speak :-)
