your driver's license on the internet

Just to let you know, recent recommendations by the Department of Homeland Security has allowed legislation to pass that makes it possible for anyone to view on the Internet your driver's license. You can follow the below link to view your license. If you'd like to remove it from the database of viewable licenses, simply click the "Remove from Internet" button next to your picture.

  3. Thank GOD. Glad to lurk in anonymity, still. (I actually look like my drivers' license photo.....)

    Actually, I lose on average one wallet per year, and, in addition to being hellaciously expensive, the lady at the DMV implied, upon my prompting, that getting a new license yearly DOES send up a red flag with homeland security....

    I was wondering which picture of mine, taken in the last ten or so years, would come up, and which would have long been assigned to fatima abdul, jihad operative and erstwhile blonde.........

    Anyway, some people are just forgetful. I used to lose wallets the way you do, although at the time I didn't carry an ID, so that saved me a trip to the DMV. it did, however, make it very hard to cash checks, but that's another story...

    The DMV, since we're talking about them, is almost as bad as my experience with Hecht's. They want all this documentation and verification you're who you are, but yet they let the terrorists through still. It's frustrating.
