Robbers strike SouthPark store

2 men, woman suspected in theft at Louis Vuitton

Three suspects shattered the glass of a luxury retail store at SouthPark Mall Friday morning and stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

The burglary happened around 3:45 a.m. at the Louis Vuitton store located in the new Nordstrom wing of SouthPark Mall.

According to police, two men and a woman broke the front glass to the store and grabbed about 25 handbags. The bags are valued between $560 and $4,500 each.

The store has an alarm and a surveillance camera.

Louis Vuitton sells leather goods, clothing, shoes and accessories. The store opened as scheduled Friday morning following the theft.

It is not know at this time how the suspects got into the mall

  1. I remember the first time I saw a Louis Vuitton bag when I was working @ Fresh Market. I remember this cashier; Catherne wispered to me:

    "That woman is carrying around a five hundred dollar purse!!!"
