Morningwood

Ken sent me a link to the band Morningwood. They're from New York and they just came out with a new album that's pretty decent.

The band contains former members of the Wallflowers, Spacehog and Cibo Matto, and their sound is described by Rolling Stone as having a "glammed-out, Times Square-in-the-Seventies vibe."

In the "nth Degree" video, they dress up like other bands on album covers, with names like Moneywood and Morgenholz. It's pretty cool.

Ken has streamed their album and says "about half of it is really pretty good." He's got good musical taste, so I think it's probably a good album, though my really ghetto dial-up internet doesn't do well with music downloads or streams, so I can't verify yet.
